Child friendly cinema. The staff were lovely to my children. Harvey explained to us about the different type of 3D glasses available as my son wears glasses. The place was clean throughout. The prices for food and tickets are expensive but the children's mornings are great value for money.

I was impressed with the online seat reservation facility. Whilst the cinema isn't old, I feel it's not had much investment since new. A cinema experience should be amazing, but little things let it down like the fire exit signs being so bright as to shine on the screen. Ample parking available.

Staff seemed a little confused by our group size and when asked where we should queue for food (due to four members of staff stood at one till talking) they led us all over to the other section of tills. Comfy seating though and great film quality.

Can someone tell me why they design the seating in modern cinema theatres to be flat? This is only a decent cinema experience if no one is sat in front of you. If someone is sat in front, you are forced to have the view of the bottom third of the screen obliterated by the backs of heads.
If the room sloped down from the back, you would have a far better view of the screen. How hard can it be?

Convenient if you want to park outside. Multi screen so good range of films. However, seating not very steeply raked so if you are not tall your view can be obstructed. Out of choice I would go to City Screen (Picture house) in the centre of York to give me a feeling of special occasion and better seating.
