Living in York and an avid collector of niche and vintage fragrances,this is hands down the best store in the city for your luxury to the old classic fragrances. I've shopped here nearly every month or three to see what's new in store,the staff are very knowledgeable,always eager to assist you. They can sometimes go downstairs into the cellar,and bring up some old gem that may suit your fragrance tastes. The stores constantly changing their stick,rotating it to other niche juices. I strongly urge visitors to the city to enter Burgins,you will definitely not be pounced upon,like many of the other city stores,a pleasant shopping experience is guaranteed,and maybe,your nose will be pleasantly surprised by a new frag experience. Gift wrapping is also offered Foc.

Wonderful shop with not only a fantastic selection of fragrances and shaving paraphernalia, but with an owner who has curated the products he stocks and as such is very knowledgable.
I will be back often.

I've shopped with you since around 1960, firstly with my parents, as a teenager, a mum and now a grandmother.
I've never received anything but first class service and been delighted with my purchases, even buyingTabac and Soir de Paris last year for a 60's evening!
By the way, I've seen someone giving you a bad review.
If I were you, I'd challenge him.

are poor but then again so too I suspect is what passes for his brain.
Report him and get him thrown off the site.

Absolutely first class service. Couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. I ordered by phone and my perfume arrived next day. Definitely the place to go.

This is fantastic shop, I wish there were more than 5 stars to give them! The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, have a genuine interest in their work and offer unparalleled customer service. They were infinitely patient with me as I sniffed at least 50 different scents, and they did all they could to help me find a perfume that I love. I left the shop extremely happy with my new fragrance. I would not consider going anywhere else to buy perfume!
