Stayed multiple times and have always had a wonderful experience. Hotel is located right next to the Minster and a very short walk from the town centre. Rooms are a nice size with everything that is expected including extra pillows and a widescreen tv with DVD player.

We don't seem to stay in hotels much anymore - at least not traditional hotels. This is a traditional hotel and they do a pretty good job of looking after you. Advice, service and hospitality were all provided with charm and dedication. The breakfast was good as well. Our room was very small, but we wanted a hotel in a good location without spending too much and something had to give.
The location was very good. Our main complaint was that r room was too warm so we had to leave the window open which meant noise from some source related to the kitchen.

I have stayed at the Dean Court on a number of occasions and highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly, attentive and helpful and the rooms are clean, comfortable and well equipped. The restaurant serves excellent food and the valet parking is very handy.

We stayed for 3 days & had our wedding reception here.from entering the hotel to leaving every member of staff were really helpful ,pleasent & friendly. They provided us with a service that was well above what we had asked for & made our stay the best ever.Gary looked after our every need at our wedding reception & the food was brilliant. I can't thank every member of staff enough for making our stay perfect.we have stayed here before & will definitely be going back.our friends visited for the first time & were really impressed.

Superb rooms with Minster views - if you're willing to pay. Conveniently located near to the old centre for exploring on foot.
Very expensive valet parking. Breakfast was not deserving of its price (slightly pretentious tiny pots of baked beans and sausages that were more suited to being on cocktail sticks). However there's plenty of other excellent places to eat, including two branches of Betty's, within a few minutes' walk.
The staff were excellent - attentive and very helpful. Decor in the room was lovely and the complimentary jams (!) were an interesting touch. We felt valued as guests.
The hotel is making hay from its location and is a good place to go for a special occasion, however for regular stays or short breaks consider other hotels unless you have several hundred pounds to spend per night during peak season.
