Will never stay here again. We booked a room over looking the Minister and was put in a room with the smallest toilet and shower ever. The decor was not very good and the carpet was very worn. We booked this hotel as a Birthday and 24th Wedding Anniversary treat and am gutted we didn't get better. Never again

on arrival last Christmas staff didn't seem friendly & didn't smile . On route to room I got a bad feeling . Once we got in the room couldn't believe what a dump this was. Stained carpet , ripped bed sheets , old worn out dining chair , thick dust on radiator , curtain tie back hooks loose , bed ought to have been put in skip . Toilet small & scruffy bathroom not much better . Christmas day dinner wasn't very good for 60 quid each on top of hotel price . Sour milk for breakfast & electric shock on Christmas day off one of the sockets . This was a deluxe room . 23rd dec-2nd Jan it was our new home delightful !

Friendly staff and fantastic location, but room was pokey with dirty carpets and worn furniture, the mattress was fit for Blackadder's puritan cousins, and no refresh of soaps for a shower.
