Stayed here because we were at a wedding close by. We were able to get into our room early so we could get ready. Staff helpful. Lovely big clean room, comfy bed. Very quiet area but close to center of York. Nice breakfast. Would stay here again.

The Park is an absolutely superb restaurant. Tasting menu with matched wine was a real treat. Highly reccomended.

Food here is absolutely superb. Flavours, composition and texture are as good as I've eaten in Michelin star establishments. Two slight quirky features that jar a little. Bathroom straight off the dining hall and some 'eclectic' art. But if that's all there is to mention it's going really really well. It's easily the best food in York.
