Very nice hotel clean and friendly. All so quiet at night a way from york city but à good walk to york cèntre.friendly staff helped us get a taxi to màrothon Sunday.😊

Great location, staff was very helpful. Room was comfy and clean, Nice breakfast as well. Location was good. 10 minutes stroll to the city centre. Would recommend.

Decent. Staff always on hand and helpful, rooms comfy, although would have liked a bigger bed. Shower was fine but not that powerful. The eggs royale for breakfast was excellent, the full English was alright. All in all, decent given the price and would think about coming back next time I'm in town.

Set on a quiet side street, the place is great. Booked a Large Double room, and everything went smoothly. They provided a great little guide to the city which we found to have some choice recommendations in it. The breakfast in particular was nice. Would absolutely stay again.

Located about 15-20 minutes walk from the train station. If I had arrived earlier in the day, I would have walked. In the evening, it's close enough for a pleasant stroll into town for food/drinks. I stay in hotels most weeks, and usually stick to chain hotels as I am always concerned about the unknowns of smaller or independent places. On this occasion, I booked late and had limited choice. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The building and room were clean, tidy and cosy. The room was not very big, but had all you needed to make for a very comfortable stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They really proved me wrong about staying with smaller establishments. If I need to stay in York again, I'd be more than happy to visit again.
