Just been to rose and crown had good meal pie with chips to die for good beer and music with friendly staff service would highly recommend

We have just returned after our second visit to this amazing pub. The staff are so welcoming and the food is delicious. The accommodation is spotless .We cannot wait for our next visit.

Only popped in for a cold drink but service and atmosphere was good. Food looked great and definitely contemplating a Sunday roast there, prices are reasonable and looks delish!

Stayed for 1 night in a family room with our 6 year old. Room was spacious, clean and tidy with nice bathroom. We had dinner which was lovely and staff were really friendly and helpful. Cooked breakfast was very nice, the only downside was the traffic noise. The hotel is situated on a busy road just on the outskirts of the city centre , from about 6am the traffic increased and it was quite loud. For 1 night this didn't really bother us, but if you're a light sleeper it's something worth considering
