went for a 3 course meal one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. got drinks order wrong and large beer was close to 7 pound! starters were complete disappointment had none of the things menu said. Main course the same pizzas were just under cooked dough with a few tomatoes. service was non existent although not the server's fault they needed more staff. desserts were ok only saving grace but they were just out the fridge. would strongly advise not to go sooo many better placed in york for cheaper aswell.

Excellent food and quick service though I did go on a quiet lunch time. Very polite waiters too. Also very good vegan/vegetarian options.

Staff seemed occupied on others . We were sat down after being nicely welcome and then straight away ignored, not even to get a drink. Eventually 20 minutes later we could order a drink and but by then we ordered food the guy that took our order was helpful though.The food didn't take too long but once the meal was served nobody came to ask us how our meal was and seem far to busy running up and down the stairs and standing around the till. It's not like the place was busy it was borderline empty. No one noticed after a good half an hour wait we had finished so I asked for a bill and we left as quick as possible. Awful. It's a shame as the food from the kitchen was great but the staff just didn't seem to care about us.

A last decision to eat out on a Sunday evening saw us ringing Zizzi to book a table.
Being very busy we were told it would be a 40 minute wait.
One of our group is Vegan and knew to ask for the Vegan menu, this had plenty of lovely Vegan options to choose from.
We had to wait a long time between finishing our starters and receiving our mains but when they did arrive everything was served hot and tasted very good.
The real surprise of the evening was the fantastically tasty the Vegan chocolate tart which really was amazingly delicious.
Using the Voucher codes app reduced the overall price significantly.
The service was slow but the waitresses were friendly and cheerful even under the obvious pressure they were under.
