Fantastic location, we stayed in Holly lodge which had beautiful views over the lake. Lodge was spotless and well equipped. We will definitely return and highly recommend.

We stayed in housr A. House was a goid size. The kitchen had everything you needed. 3 bedrooms. The bedroom with 3 single beds had a toilet ensuite. There was a double room with lake view. The room with 2 single beds had a lake view. Bathroom, bath, toilet, shower and sink. Modestly decorated although perfectly comfortable. Large dining area and lounge area. Open plan lounge and kitchen. Electric gate to get in. Good fishing I was told. Advised by anglers common and mirror carp are good to fish for but other varieties. Not busy so peaceful fishing could be had. Close to York Centre. I walked in. The house it's self felt cosy.

Had a few very nice and relaxing days here, lovely walk round the water, garden areas very well kept, everything you need in the very clean lodges. well recommended.
