Gone here a few times with serious asthma conditions. Once I had a blood oxygen level under 90, and all they did was give me a nebulizer treatment. They brought me discharge paperwork for doing nothing and still charged me 2 months later, for doing nothing. I get discharged in the same condition in which I arrived? Barely can breathe? What a great hospital.

Stay away from this Fake Hospital———Very Horrible. The ER Nurse named Heather is very rude and lazy, maybe that’s just with certain patients who knows. The physician assistants don’t know what their doing. THEY WILL MISDIAGNOSE YOU IN A HEARTBEAT!!!!!! STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!

TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE ELSE WHERE, THEY WILL KILL YOU WITH ATIVAN AND MORPHINE WITH A SMILE ON THEIR FACE AND TELL YOU IT WAS THE ILLNESS PROGRESSING. The E.R doctor and nurses were good, the GI that placed his stent was good but the ICU overnight nurse did the job, she kept telling me his illness was progressing and that it was going to get worse from there. She even told me he was not going to make it through the night; but he did the she said he is not going to make it past this weekend and spoke to me about her mother passing from cancer and that it was painful way to die, talk about a mental f**K on top of already being emotional. She advised me get with hospice and be stern about bringing him home. She said his blood pressure was high because of his pain and I did not want my father in pain so I agreed to "make him comfortable" and "it will help his breathing". I called my mom to get a "verbal" to "make everything legal", I had no idea what that term meant, I later found out was to basically sedated him into a coma and when it was injected gave him a head rush and looked like he had seizure, after that my father did not speak, he did not eat, he did not drink and was removed from everything except the pain meds and nasal cannula. We agreed to hospice because we wanted to bring him home, before he went into the coma, he told me to bring him home but once in hospice they told us if we bring him home they would not give us anything for the pain or oxygen, we did not want him to die in pain so we agreed to keep him in the hospital but we were never offered to cancel hospice and return him to the ICU. My father was given Dilaudid and Tylenol for his fever every few hours until he passed on October 21st at 11:47 am. I give them one star because of the ER and GI staff were so good to my dad before being legally euthanized.

I've had stat blood work done at this insurance approved lab for the last two months, with a note on the script to send results to the ordering physician by 2:30 that same day. The blood is drawn before 9 am. However the lab can not get the results to the physician. Last month, over a week went by. This month, over 24 hours or more. It's been over 72 hours and I haven't heard anything.

I went to Albany Memorial for ambulatory surgery and was very pleased with the experience from start to finish. The nurses were all wonderful -- friendly, helpful, funny and attentive as was the anesthesiologist and two surgeons. I will absolutely use this hospital again if need arises and will recommend it to friends. The general vibe of this hospital is much more laid back than a bigger hospital and I can't speak highly enough of the great attitude from the staff. That makes or breaks a medical experience like this and I'm very grateful for the excellent care.
