I have been here three times and each time is better . The new owner is moving in some different directions and it's excellent . Cheeseburger soup amazing ! Chicken fingers and sweet potato fries awesome ! Today's turkey club on multigrain bread was enormous , turkey fresh roasted and the seasoned fries spectacular. The stuff is homemade and made to order. Everyone friendly and super helpful...give this updated take on comfort foods a try!

I come here for breakfast every couple of weeks. I like it a lot. Very good food and coffee, clean, and very friendly and homey. I liked it under the old ownership, and I like it under the new ownership as well.
Worth going to.
Across from the police station, sort of sunken in from Broadway. The default Google photo, at least the default photo that showed as of April 1, 2016 anyway, doesn't quite show it to you -- it's in the parking lot you see though.
PS: I deliberately posted nearly the same review on Yelp. And why on earth do both Google and Yelp insist on star ratings to be able to post? Star ratings are not always appropriate and every place should work, or not work, on its own terms. Five stars was the most-appropriate for PJs but you know folks will see it and assume insincerity. Eh. This whole "user review" paradigm is really new to me. Doing my best!

Oddly hard place to find set far back from the road. I've been working 50 yards away for 3 years and never noticed this place until today.
There are nice picnic tables outside and a nice mural on the wall, so it's a great spot for a sunny lunch. Inside's decorations aren't very nice though, cheap seats and ugly wallpaper abound. However, the ladies taking orders and making sandwiches could be your grandmother and are sweet as can be.
The important thing, though, is that the reuben was perfect. The corned beef was just the right mixture of fatty, salty, and meat. The sauerkraut was simple and delicious. The right amount of swiss and russian. The bread was perfectly toasted and buttered. I haven't had a better reuben.
