My 8 year old and I stopped in for the 2.2 mile hike this evening (Nov 2017). We picked up Taco Bell from down the street and ate it at the provided picnic tables. From there, we hit the trail. It's very sandy so expect to get sand in your shoes. The signs say it take 1.5 to 2.2 hours. He and I finished it in 50 minutes. We weren't walking fast just not hanging out too long. The petroglyphs are amazing. There are signs all over the place warning you not to leave stuff in your car; if it's a known issue, maybe some cameras could help divert the criminals; I'm sure they are there a lot. All-in-all, a great place to spend some time with kids.

I took my kids here and they enjoyed the activity books this site provided. They offered many resources for the petroglyphs and also other locations that contain additional petroglyphs. For light hikers and great to experience all year long.

Another amazing stop on our trip. This was just amazing, the park rangers were great and there was lots to see! I would recommend a stop here.

Everyone loved this! From my 3 year old to the awesome 73 year old from New York that we met on the path. The Petroglphs are very easy to spot.

Trails were easy and well marked. Informative signs were posted along the trail. Unfortunately they do not allow dogs. Even on a leash so make sure you visit on a cold day if pup has to stay in the car.
