We just found my dog and took him in about 2 months ago. We had to give him shots because we didn't know what ones he has gotten already and have to check him for heartworms. The staff has been incredibly nice and understanding about my worries leaving him with them.

HORRIBLE!! My cat stopped eating, and my boyfriend took the little guy in because he was acting really sick. Banfield racked up a $500 bill for us, and scared my boyfriend into thinking he needed to pay for unnecessary tests for my cat. After racking up a huge bill, they said that my cat was constipated and sent him with antibiotics, and no solution on how to help my cat with his issue. So at home, of course he still wouldn't eat or drink still. Then I decided I needed to take him to a better vet, and at the vet I called Banfield to get the xrays faxed over. They told me that they didn't know how to fax or email xrays, so I was forced to pay another $120 for more xrays at the new vet, because Banfield was too incompetent to do their job.

The veterinarians were very knowledgeable and professional. When my cat was very, very ill, they were upfront about her options *and* the likely impact on her lifespan. They remember our pets and details of their history. A HUGE plus in my book is their detailed billing and how they do not push services onto you, unlike other vets in town I have visited. My biggest complaint is that we do not see very much of the vets on our visits, I would like more personal time and attention.
