Way understaffed. My dad's been there 1 week, and has fallen out of bed 3 times. There are a few nice workers, and several rude ones that act like it's such a chore to do their jobs. He has type 2 diabetes, which is in his chart. But continues to be served too much starch and sugar. His sugar level was over 300. Also, they know he was on dialiys and they have not montiered his urine outake. They finally checked to see why he couldn't urinate, and his bladder was completely full. They do not read his chart very well. It seems to be a place that does the bare minimum, and rushed to get rid of patients so they can do their beds again. All about the money. But they won't hire enough staff. They had 1 nurse and 2 aides working the night shift for the entire 2nd floor. Not impressed at all.

my father has been a patient for less than a week and has fallen out of bed twice. we were told this is because he is on an air mattress and it is slippery. at every other facility he has been in there was a sheet on top of the air mattress, but not here. we were even told they do not put a bottom sheet over the mattress. this would obviously solve the problem. why isn't this simple solution being done? also he is diabetic and is not being fed a diabetic diet. his sugar has been running over 200 and yesterday it was over 300. his sugar has never been this high. why isn't there a nutritionist on staff?

Understaffed & overbooked.. Long waiting list.. Good rehabilitation stats though

My little sister has been in there for 2 in a half days now. And today was her second day in physical therapy. Today she fell out her wheel chair and hurt her knee. This is sad! They should have been better at their job. They are supposed to be watching her. Not happy with this place at all!!

My uncle has been a patient at Health South and they have a superb staff. Would like to commend them on their excellent rehab. C Petty Family

3+ The staff here really care about helpong you get better and work very hard to reach their (our) goals.
