it's OK to walk around in but there's hardly anything open on weekdays. so if you want to go, weekends are way better!

Ashbury Plaza has several shops you can browse through from the Texas Thrift to Dollar Tree. There is even a laundry mat that offers top loaders to front loaders that can handle 4 or more loads at once. And the dryers are free.
