Dr. Pate is very excellent; he is always on time, extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He also explains everything. The best and most helpful dentist I have ever met. I would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

To Dr. Robert Pate, your the dentist I've been waiting for and not knowing which dentist office to go to after an inccident from another dentist off Baxter street Dr.Alex in which he failed and did a half butt job on my tooth, and it fail out of my mouth with an apple. If I had'nt met Andrea Thompson and her advise, I would'nt have my implant done. And not knowing which Dr. dentist to go to. At first I was concern, But Whitney Thompson of Andrea's duaghter trust you and all of your staff, made come to you Dr. pate, and I am thankfull and God bless you, you do your job right and your all your staff in the whole office are nice and do thier job right. I have much more to say, To all staff Karen,Carmen & the front desk, Dr. Robert Pate May God bless you all. Tha Athens Family Dental will be the only dental office I come to. THANK YOU ALL. I had to have a molar removed, a bone graft and an implant. I didn't want to do it. I was scared to death. Dr Pate, Carmen and Karen explained every step with me. They knew how scared I was and they did everything possible to make me feel safe and cared for. Because of them, this was a breeze. They are professional and very nice. If I ever have to have anything like that done in the future, I would see Dr Pate. I really liked Karen and Carmen a lot. They are very attentive and very very nice.

The entire staff was great, both times I've been (once for a cleaning, and once for two root canal treatments.) I was pretty upset about getting my first root canal, but Dr. Pate was very reassuring and confident about the procedure. I was a little nervous about going anywhere in Athens because I didn't grow up around here and didn't know who I could trust to do a good job with my teeth. I ended up liking this place better than where I went in my hometown! Dr. Pate did two root canal treatments in 45 minutes, humming the whole time and in general just seeming to know exactly what he was doing. Upon my asking about the pain, he said he would make sure I didn't feel anything, and if I did to just let him know and he would stop the procedure. Great experience... sad to be moving away in less than a year because this is a great dental office!
