I am part of ACS road to recovery and drive many patients to cancer treatment around Atlanta area and I have never seen a patient wait nearly 2 hours after appointment time before taken back for the procedure

I ALMOST DIDN'T GO DUE TO THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS...My husband, mother, and myself all have had to come here for one reason or another over the last few months.... but let me tell you....the other reviews are missing something....the whole truth.. I have NEVER had an issue here.... as a matter of fact, they are so accommodating to you it will blow your mind! I actually told them they need to get the current patients to do a review so that the numbers are fair!!! Walking in I was greeted on all 3 first and future visits, I was asked about insurance and when I was confused about something or had a question I was told to not worry they would handle it! I was relaxed while being stuck with a needle for the first time in YEARS and I am deathly afraid of needles... Not only did they get the vein the FIRST time ( I was a little dehydrated) but I didn't bruise even though I tend to do so!!! Don't let the old reviews of crabby people make you miss out on GREAT health care... Do like I did....judge for yourself!!!

Made an appointment a year ago, drove an hour to get to their Lavonia office only to find they were closed. Woman yelled from office that my appointment was not today it had been cancelled and changed to Thursday. Well, no one bothered to tell me. Called the office, got the Athens office who doesn't know anything about the Lavinia office it isn't closed according to them. They put me through to leave a message for them. Left message. They got back to me tonight via another recording telling me about the appointment for Thurs. And I would be charged if I didn't come. Sounds like someone just wanted the day off but didn't want to bother doing their job to change it or bad management.

The nursing staff is very helpful and very caring about the patients but thats about it.

Each time I've gone there I have met so many friendly staff members. I had a great Dr, I like how Dr Jeffrey Thomas explain everything to me.
