Awesome venue. The music was loud, and mixed very well. Places to sit to enjoy a drink before the show. All around a very good venue

Fun place with fun programs. We went to the wizard ball event and enjoyed a lot. Drinks prices are okay. And they had live music.

40 Watt hosted the event I went to. They seemed adequately staffed and clean. We felt safe and had a lot of fun. I would go again.

The 40 Watt lives up to its reputation as a perfect, intimate setting to see a great performer like Conor Oberst put on a stellar show. I'll be back for Hippocampus soon and looking forward to it.

The 40 Watt Club IS Athens, GA. This small venue is a real piece of Athens music history. I have personally seen hundreds of shows here and ALWAYS had the best time. It is a standing room with bar. The room can get crowded, however, the energy is mind blowing. I just visited Athens, again, April 13 to see All Them Witches and Ranch Ghost...it was the best three hours of my life. This so called "local tour guide"...Michael Green, "review" below sounds like a real piece of venomous, hating drek. Only a dick would say something so obtuse about The 40 Watt.
