Local feel, unique because it's a college town environment, every night is different, sometimes with trivia, karaoke. I enjoy watching sporting events and having a meal.

I was at Mellow Mushroom recently with a large group of around 20 people. We had spoken with the hostess about finding a tables next to each other for our group or if we could sit in the large room downstairs if it was empty. We waited for about 15 minutes for her to check on this, meanwhile the group started to get a little rowdy, there had been some light day drinking going on, but everyone was being very respectful and nice, we were just blocking the doorway waiting to hear back from the hostess. The manager comes out of nowhere demanding we get out, mouthing off to several of my friends and being absurdly unnecessarily rude and disrespectful. He shooed us out like children, yelling that we had to leave because we were blocking the doorway. I calmly explained that we would be happy to move out of the doorway and had waited 15 minutes for the hostess to seat us, he was a total jerk back despite my attempt to be nice so we promptly left. Besides that, the service is always slow as hell and the food is sub par. The only up side is a server named Evan (tall, thin with long hair) who is a total delight, the only reason I would ever go back is for Evan. He's the man. The manager (middle age dude with a creepy handlebar mustache) is a total jackass.

Ordered two sandwiches. Took 45 minutes to get them and because of doctor's appt. had to leave without eating. Waiter said only one cook. That's the restaurant's problem, not the customer's. Took waiter five minutes to get our check. He took a personal call during this time. When I asked for drink cup, he was rude. In the course of conversation, he used very inappropriate language with table next to ours. If I had children with me, I would have been very angry. Fine to be casual at work, but there is too casual. Employees need to maintain a level of professionalism no matter the business. I am going to be late for my appt. because of this. Will be disputing charge with my bank should it show up on my account. It shouldn't since I did not sign the receipt.

Awesome pizza all sorts of different types to choose from. Vegetarian options as well. Breadstick appetizer are tasty. Fun place to go to every time I am in town. Pizza is tasty each time.

Best pizza I have ever had, hands down. The staff are all so nice and welcoming. Some things on the menu may take a while to cook, but the server let me know upfront. Cool atmosphere and great place to get a beer. (They have 20 different choices on tap alone). This is a a place you must eat if visiting out of town
