One of my favorite places to eat in Athens.
Their fried tofu is legendary.

Overrated.
My husband took me a few months ago, really excited because he had previously been and throughly enjoyed it.
I was a bit skeptical because I am not vegetarian in any way.
We arrived and there was a wait, which honestly is no big deal. We finally get sat after 30 minutes, and we get our menus, again, I am nervous, but I order the golden bowl - which is tofu over brown rice. I order this because I actually like tofu and I LOVE rice. Once again there is a long wait before we get out food. Our server had disappeared until our food came out, but was spotted socializing with other staff on the opposite side of the restaurant.
The food was so bland! The tofu was ridiculously flavorless and the brown rice was just a bunch of squished mush. Even my husband's grilled cheese, which he had raved about prior, was bland and cold.
It was very disappointing and I will not be back. There are MANY other good restaurants in Athens with a cool atmosphere with good food! I left the grit 2 stars because it is a cute little restaurant.

We just came in at around 720p, busy time on a Sat night. Drinks and order were taken in reasonable time, but we were not checked on at all after. We waited over 30 minutes (close to 40 I think, but def 30 from when i last checked my watch.)
They never told us it would take that long. This place even when busy, has had food out in 15-20 min from order in our experience.
We needed to leave and told the bartender/manager. We were told 5-10 more minutes and did not want to wait so we canceled the order and asked to pay for our drinks. The server and bartender/manager then offered us a desert,we declined and left for several minutes. We never got the check for our drinks or were told they were comped. I left an estimated total in cash on the bar and we left.
Worst experience at what used to be a great service restaurant. I hope they fix this.

Tried their veggie burger daily special on a recommendation from a coworker. Then my wife and I helped ourselves to some delicious cake. I would recommend anyone to eat their veggies and to especially eat theirs here!

The best vegetarian restaurant in Georgia and one of the best small restaurants of any type. Southern charm meets college town funk. And the Vegan Death By Chocolate cake is, well...worth dying for!
