I have gone here a couple times. They've been very caring with my dog and seem to have a genuine staff that are there for the right reasons. Only not 5 stars because despite appt time, I sat waiting for nearly a half an hour additional. Small inconvenience though for great pet care.

My family and I love this place! Highly recommend. They seem to really care about the animals they see and they're typically very responsive about any customer service issues.

The help we received from them was great , both my cats had 2 totally different emergency in 2 days. both which was pretty much life threatening.One was attacked by something outside and the other either fell out one of the very tall trees in the back or even possibly hit by a car. They were so helpful and caring. Both of my furr babies are still recovering here at the house and expecting to do fine THKS to Dr. Bennett and the crew there at the clinic. They have got excellent care these past few days. THANKS

I was not impressed. The vet was not in any way gentle with my cat. He swabbed her ears, among other things, quite overly vigorously and she has been shaking her head the last 6 hours and was pressing her ear against her head for the about an hour after I got home. Also when I explained my reasons for not feeding hard food the vet argued with me about wether or not I should feed my 12 year old cat with lifelong crystals prescription hard food, okay, whatever, my previous holistic vet thought my cats diet was fantastic for two aging cats. My previous vets were always gentle with my cats. So, I won't be taking either of my cats back there, I'm sure there is a much more gentle and kind vet in Athens and am looking forward to meeting them.

Today was a very sad day for my son and me. We had to make the tough decision to euthanize 2 pets who were both suffering from congestive heart failure and kidney failure respectively. We had been customers at a clinic for over 16 years and were told it would cost around 90 dollars per animal. And being a senior citizen i explained to them i was on a fixed budget. But to no avail. We called another clinic which we had long patronized and they required an additional exam which made it even more expensive. So my son found the cat and dog clinic on Hawthorne Avenue which was great.They assisted us in a kind and professional manner and told us that their clinic would help all of their customers with euthanasia for free or at low cost.
We ABSOLUTELY would recommend them to anyone especially if you are in our situation don't hesistate to call them and if you live in this area they are prompt, professional, and they really care. They are NOT TOO BUSY to share your grief by showing compassion where it is most needed.
