I've always seen the commercials and ads for Benihana which make it look like a magical place. I came here for my first visit to celebrate a birthday and well... the magic was lost. It really didn't seem anything different than any other hibachi grill. The food was good but not outstanding. The service was ok. The hibachi chef does his little show routine that I've seen several times before at other restaurants but again nothing that made me go "Wow!". The place seems a little old and could use a little renovating. So, considering the money I spent, I expected a better experience. It wasn't bad but I can find other places closer that may even be a better value that offer the same options.

This location has really went down hill. The service was absolutely horrible. I came to celebrate a birthday and I had no accommodations. The cook i had just cooked. He had No engagement with the table, did not do anything entertaining AT ALL. The whole point people come here is to get the benihana experience. Also when did a yum yum sauce and garlic butter become an extra charge?

This place is OVERPRICED, in addition to having both poor food and service — get the point, DON’T GO THERE. When we went there, they were two waiters short of what was needed, and at least one if not two cooks short. . . . . . BUT WAIT that’s not all — they were short on their storeroom: for example no yum yum sauce available — can you believe it. Shoot! these folks deserve to be sued! for wasting people’s time.
Heck, they don’t deserve one star . . . they deserve five poops — and I’m not joking. . . . . . Oh and I forgot — it took us 2 and a half hours to get waited on, and THAT WAS WITH RESERVATIONS . . . oh my god, the list goes on and on, no white rice was served until after the meal was mostly eaten (we were so hungry). I will never eat at any Benihana’s again. Corporate must be poorly run.

I did not like that we had to wait until the entire party arrived especially sense the only have a waiting area big enough for 5 people. They need to expand. Smh. We had a party of 11 and there was not enough room at one table for all of us. The cook took 30 minutes to come to our table to prepare our food. The food was good and the cook turned out great and funny!!

The night started off great, but as soon as we placed our food order, our waitress disappeared and never came back. We were charged for drinks that never arrived and had to get the manager to adjust our bill. We ordered a "five course special" and after waiting 30+ minutes never received the last 2 courses.
