I catered my friend's baby shower with Community Q BBQ and was very pleased with the whole experience. Great communication, easy to place the order and to pick up the food. The food was packaged with care, was easy to transport, and everything that needed to be hot, was upon arrival. The food was delicious and everyone was pleased with it. They also have great catering prices. I'm very happy with my experience with them and highly recommend Community Q BBQ.

Came here for some BBQ and was immediately intrigued by the 2 meat combo (which turned out to be for their sandwiches) and their casual decor and the floor to ceiling menu. It's a semi self-serve establishment, you get your own drinks, but they deliver your meal to your table. I opted for the ribs and 1 side (mac and cheese), while my friend opted for 2 sides (apparently he was hangry).
The ribs were just okay - I have had better in other places, but the mac and cheese was the true winner here. I quickly ate my side, and then doe-eyed my way into getting some of my friend's side. He initially ordered a side of mac and cheese, and a side of beans. He was not happy with the beans, and returned them for another order of mac and cheese (guess who was very happy about that :p)
When I started writing this review, I initially had 3 stars for the food, but in thinking about the fact that we were able to return a side order, and the affable demeanor of our cashier and waiters/waitresses, I increased it to a 4 (one additional star for customer service).

My favorite BBQ place, Community Q has great food and terrific customer service. I have never had a problem with my order, whether I'm dining in or ordering take out. I can never decide between the brisket or pulled pork, both are fantastic. I'm also torn about the sauces, so I het them both. I always get the collards and Mac & cheese. Plenty of food left over for lunch the next day. One time, I showed up late and they were out of meat. I was devastated. Dramatic? Maybe. But the food is really, really good. Also, they sharpen scissors. Nothing makes me happier than smoky meats and sharp fabric shears.

Absolutely love this place. Some of the best BBQ you can get in Atlanta without having to wait in line for over an hour. The sliced brisket and Mac and cheese are my favorites. Sauces aren't too fancy, but they have something for everyone. Be sure to come early since they do run out of meat. It's rare, but it happens.

I had the rib plate, pulled pork, and macaroni (1 side). The ribs were cooked perfectly with very tangy seasoning and was a little too salty for me. However, they were fall off the bone ribs for sure. The pulled pork was pretty good you could see the smoke ring in the pork. Instead of buttered toasted sandwich bread, I would prefer a bun but didn’t ask for one so that’s my fault. The cheese macaroni was GREAT!!!!! I will visit again.
