If I could give this place "0" stars I would. Pop's literally took 4 1/2 HOURS to get my order to me. I ordered off of Grubhub. NEVER AGAIN!!! When the food finally got here. It was soggy and even if it wasn't soggy, I don't think that it would have tasted any good. Poor, horrible service. Talking about they are #1 when speaking the manager. Must be a LIE! Manager was condescending and showed no real concern. And to top it all off, they provided no eating utensils. Who does that. The driver, I must say, was very attentive and apologetic. But the crappy thing is, they're form of reimbursement is to deduct from the delivery fee and tip. Also, the manager said to call back if there were any other complaints; we did, and they did not answer. Just an overall terrible service. Don't support this place if you respect your hunger.

JUST RECEIVED MY ORDER AND TASTED IT, IT WAS TERRIBLE!!!!!! The greens were tasteless the fish was mushy and the mac and cheese taste like it was a week old. I am pissed that I wasted money on this disgusting meal. The restaurant is a hole in the wall in the ghetto and the lady that delivered my food looked like she was on drugs. I WILL NEVER EVER EAT THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the whiting was actually OK. a little grease soggy but OK. paid for extra tartar sauce and received NONE at all. got old and nasty green beans instead of potato salad. don't recommend mac n cheese and definitely don't recommend red beans and rice. in fact, I don't recommend this "soul food kitchen" at all . . . (sn: ordered via grub hub)

Once again, Pop's Soul Food Kitchen never fail me :) This time I ordered the catfish, macaroni & cheese, & y'all know I couldn't leave without ordering my favorite YAMS!!!! This place is a hole in the wall but the cooks make you feel like your eating your own grandmother's southern cooking. Glad I was referred to this spot!
