These meals keep me sane, and Carol is the best! I have been coming here for years now, about every other month, to pack my freezer full of easy meals. The menus are always seasonally appropriate, with new meals every month, mixed with some classics that are repeated just often enough to get you excited when they're back on the menu. Most meals take about 30 minutes of cook-time, so they are a life-saver during busy weeks. I love being able to sprinkle in these meals amidst my own planned meals. They are also frequently something different I might not cook myself and add a nice variety to our nightly dinners. Also, did I say that Carol is the best? If you love spice, or want to sub out a different kind of meat, just let Carol know - she is very accommodating. Highly recommend!!

So grateful for Carole and the Dinner Shoppe! The meals are delicious, healthy, and technically, you're the one doing the actual cooking :-) Carole really puts a lot of thought (and sometimes humor) into the monthly menus and getting a bonus meal for ordering early is awesome. A lot of the meal prep places only make cream-of-whatever casseroles but most things on here are healthy, clean meats and they come with sides (veggies, pasta, rice). I think Dinner Shoppe is also the most reasonably-priced. I love how you can go with organic meats, gluten-free and brown rice for a few dollars. If you're still on the fence, just get a small package and try it out.

I enjoy cooking, but stressing out over planning our meals every week and doing all the shopping and inevitable forgetting of something takes a lot of time. Having a weeks worth of frozen dinners ready to thaw and cook has made life so much easier for our family. I've been very pleased with the quality of the meats and the creative menus. I'll often supplement our main dish with a fresh vegetable and save the frozen veggies for other times. Carol is awesome to work with and omits ingredients on dishes when we ask her to which is great for our "pepper sensitive" family.
