So, I've had to downgrade Urban Pie from a 5 to a 3. Our most recent Urban Pie delivery order (via Grub Hub) ended really badly. This was the one and only time that we have ever had a delivery issue with Urban Pie. The delivery driver didn't bother looking for free parking near us, nor did they call us to ask about where to park (which is very common). A little bit after our food was delivered, we got a call from Urban Pie's manager, stating that unless we go down to get our food from the delivery person's car next time, they would no longer deliver to us. In other words, they don't want us as customers anymore. It's a shame, because their Signature Pizza is (or I guess was now) my favourite pizza from anywhere!

I will never order from here again. Ordered from Grubhub (which I equally don't like but at least they helped me out) and after 20 minutes passed my estimated delivery time I call Urban Pie to see if my order had been picked up since the app was not updating. He said it was out for delivery. After 15 more minutes I called Grubhub and after calling the store they were told the order had just been picked up and that they were busy and things were slow. Now being in the service industry myself I completely understand that but you have already lied to me saying that my order was out when it wasn't and did not apologize to me for the long wait when I called myself. Then they told the Grubhub rep that they would not do anything to compensate for my long wait. I ordered before 8:30 and did not receive my order of wings, bread sticks and salad until almost 10:30. And the food was cold when I got it. The "garlic" bread sticks were disguising and literally had no garlic on them. The wings were good after I heated them up. Not worth it at all and horrible customer service.

Really love the pizza here. The delivery driver was really sweet and polite, and complimented me on my pajamas. Happy to keep ordering :)

They just added vegan cheese (daiya) and you can add it to any existing pizza, How Awesome is that! The Garden Veggie Vegan Pizza was delish. A good variety of music which wasn't too loud. The outside patio is probably larger than the inside seating area but that just makes it feel cozy! Not a long wait for freshly tossed, thin crust pizza. The waiter was pretty cool, friendly and very interactive with all patrons. Parking is a bit sparse but hey, its a cool neighborhood so park down the street and take a stroll.

I placed an order on GrubHub for my specific address, which Urban Pie has delivered to before. About 10 minutes later I got a call from the restaurant saying they were cancelling my order because I was outside of their delivery radius, which was 3.5 miles. I asked to speak to a manager and Chris picked up. I explained this and asked if he could make an exception? He stated "you want me to make an exception because you're special?" and was extremely rude and unprofessional. He told me that the delivery radius was 4 miles and they must have delivered to me previously because they were extremely slow or had excess drivers. So, clearly the rules change on a whim. Also, I just looked up the distance between my house and the restaurant and it is 4 miles exactly (I'm in East Lake). But I'm sure if I called back the delivery radius will have just changed to 4.5 miles. Don't give this place your money. In this economy, there are plenty of other local businesses who deserve it more.
