I do not understand the negative reviews. Yes, they are expensive, but the comfort and level of care you get is worth it. My dog got sick last week and Dr. Berger emailed me all weekend. Today it is time to put her down and he called me to talk with me and walk me through the process. In my opinion, he has gone above and beyond. I can't recommend them enough!

I love Dr Berger, Dr Delong and the entire staff at Petwell. They are very caring and patient with my labs. One lab is 11 and the other is 18 months so we have had lots of experiences over the years at Petwell. Highly recommend them for your very important furry family members!!

Like some people described we felt Dr. Berger is just trying to get money out of you. I went with a small Goldendoodle puppy because of runny stool and stomach worms.. We went in to learn about the test results and as smart as he is, he seemed to be super cold. My pup was trying to be nice with him so like most pups that are still being trained, he jumped on him and he just pushed my doggie off him in the meanest way.. I was shocked. PetWell, if customer satisfaction is important for you I'd have a talk with him and check the prices compared to the industry. I've dropped over $1,000 on vet bills to have my home vet (all the way in Spain) solve my dog's allergy problem through the phone- no need for expensive allergy and stool exams. He recommended me to change his dry food to the hypoallergenic from Royal Canin and it's been the best Charlie has been since I picked him up at the shelter. I'd suggest people staying away from Dr. Berger if they care about their money and fur friend's health.

I do not feel confident about the care given by Dr Berger. The facility is clean and modern but they take your dog behind closed doors for all exams and treatments. I have never experienced my dog being removed from me for regular care.
When a persistent limp needed to be addressed I felt like the long road was taken for my dog. One xray seemed pretty darn conclusive but he insisted the limp was due to something else. Then more expensive diagnostic tests and treatments none of which improved the issue for her. Throughout he didn't even doubt his course and he would never concede even the smallest point. He recommended yet another treatment...for a boatload more money. I don't begrudge anyone making a good living but yikes, they are super expensive. Ultimately I am really dissapointed in not getting an expedient resolution for my dog.
