Best chicken wings in NJ! Yes, seriously! This is a great dive bar in AC open 24 hours/day. Never closes. Just don't get too drunk because they finally hired a bouncer who will throw you out if you cause any trouble. Picallili used to be a very rough around the edges biker type bar, also filled with thugs who once caused a lot of problems. Now they have become more popular to tourists and everyone is finding out about this hidden gem. Still, you just never know who will walk in. This bar has seen all kinds. The bartenders are very friendly, but also are no nonsense. Don't come in asking silly questions like how much are the beers. It is a dive bar and nothing is too expensive. In fact, every weeknight they have certain food and drink specials. I believe Wed is wing night and Thurs is $1 tails. Don't be afraid to order more. I saw a first time customer order 3 orders of wings in a row because they are so good. You get hooked. This is a sports bar, but they also have a great Internet jukebox. Just let the bartenders know you are going to play music, cause sometimes they have the speakers turned off. Best dive bar in AC!

I'm staying across the lot at the Atlantic palace and wouldn't go near that place. For the last hour I've sern numerous cars pull up and there's a group of people hanging outside. Every vehicle someone goes over to the cars takes something out of their pockets shotly after they leave. Then another etc been going on for a while. . If you're smart DON'T go near the place...

Damn excellent place to get wings or tenders. Love their smoker sauce, brings heat with a little sweet. Dive bar with amusingly sarcastic bartenders. Interesting crowd at times.

Small joint off he boardwalk with decent food and tasty wings. The reason for the 1 star is the attitude the girl behind the bar gave us when it was time to pay. 4 of us girls ordered food and drinks. All came out with different prices for the same type drinks and they wouldn't give us a break down of the actual bill. They just give you the total and tell you to pay. So one of us paid $5, the other $6.25 and me $7.50 for the same vodka. They got upset with us, the customers when we asked so see the actual bill and told me they closed the tab and that can't be printed, just pay your bills. I did and left the normal tip. She was laughing at us and whispering to the other bartenders ear laughing and rolling her eyes. She was all smiles when we came in but now that we want to see what we are getting charged for she can't come up with an actual bill. She was very rude, overall nasty attitude at the end. That's not the way to treat patrons. I wouldn't recommend this place based on bad customer services and not showing you what your getting charged for!
