FantaSea Resorts at Atlantic Palace

While reading this please keep in mind that I've only been here for a total of 1 hour and I can say without a doubt that top to bottom, beginning to end this is the worst expirence ive ever had in atlantic city (or any hotel for that matter). when i arrived the main entrence to the "resort" was locked, it took about 5 minutes for fellow guest to be able to open the door (which was locked from the inside) to let me in . When I finally got in and presented my prepaid reservation information, the "receptionist" nonchalantly told me that she "may not be able to check me in because its late". after 10 minutes of her trying to say i had the wrong hotel she finally took the time to look over my reservation information and realized that not only did I have the right hotel but that SHE WAS THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENTERING RESERVATIONS and because she neglected to do so I wasn't showing in the system. She finally assigned me a room after letting me know how far out of her way she was going. At this point i was already irritated so i headed to my room. Now I have to mention the parking garage because the entire setup of this place is just ridiculous. The parking garage while attached to the hotel has no entrance from the garage to the hotel. The garage is five levels tall has no elevator and as previously mentioned has no direct no access to the resort. Now for the room. It was marketed as a studio with a whirlpool tub and king sized bed. I've attached a few photos for you to review and judge yourself but by no stretch of the imagination is this bed a king size (barely a full) and to put it mildly the room is disgusting. Needless to say I will never stay here again and I will be sure to pass the word on to as many people as possible. 🤢

Not a cheerful place at all. The entrance is at the end of a street and it feels more like an apartment building than a hotel. The room was nice and clean, however, and the bed was comfortable. It would be nicer if the lobby was more welcoming and if there was assistance with luggage.

All in all we had a very nice full week day at the fantasea resort. Several things would have made this stay better, including notice about construction midweek. The room was clean, but somewhat dated. Everything was an additional charge, from parking to internet. For the price we were very satisfied.

Can't beat the location. Rooms are great. Not without its quirks but so am I. Our third year here and we're already planning next year.

I have been staying at this building for years, phenomenal staff makes that place everything that it is if you ask me personally. They're attentive ,professional, and very personable... With the exceptions of the casinos ...there is definitely not another resort that could even come close to the level of satisfaction that you would have staying at this Resort. It is smack in the middle of the city ,at one of the best locations on the boardwalk, steps to the beach.. in all of my traveling which is a lot, I will say that this resort has probably been one of the most exceptional in all of my years of travel and or staying at a resort/ hotel Etc....also tallest building in the city except for the casinos as far as I understand and the way that the layout is in the hotel you're almost guaranteed a fantastic View anywhere you're located.. always someone to help you or direct you to whatever your needs may be..
