Food was delicious, service was great. Reasonably priced for good southern cooking that's homemade. Will be going back for sure.

Arrived 10 minutes after they opened. There were 3 ladies standing along the wall by the register. I was using a walker and asked if someone could help me with my tray and they all just looked at me. Finally a young man picked up my tray and brought it to the table. My friend and I both got string beans and they were cold. Not warm but ice cold. I stopped a young lady to let them know to warm the beans because they were cold. She brought back one small bowl of beans. I got pork chops and they were lukewarm. They just opened so I don't understand why food is not at correct temperature. My friend ordered fish and said it was very good. I don't think we will go back.

This is the definition of classic southern cooking. It is the best balance of quality of food vs the cost you have to pay in a restaurant I have ever seen before. The staff are so friendly and attentive without hovering. The homemade ice cream was truly off the charts. If you are in the Augusta area and are looking for a delicious, no frills, serious southern cuisine lunch, then Honey From The Rock is the place for you. Eat without worry.

The atmosphere and attitude of the workers is amazing, nothing like it anywhere. And the food really is like moms or grandmothers - really! Impossible to go wrong here - a must go to eatery!

Food was well done. Portions are of the right size, good menu choices (seafood to steak to chicken), and well priced. Beet salad was good and fresh and I had some of the best grits ever with my meal! Fish (special) was a little done, but still savory. Nice drink selection with options for all tastes.
