Love this place. Great customer service, really good food. It's a little pricey for a sub ( usually because to feed my family we need the extra large size) but it's definitely worth it for what you get

Good food, but relatively slow and more expensive than the other nearby sandwich shops. Take a coupon to get a discount or a buy two get one free.

Great subs, the Jersey Mikes Famous Philly is great but be very hungry, it can easily feed two.

I recently came here to enjoy a sub one night. The food was great but it was an incident with the cashier that night that makes me think twice about coming here or even adding this to my favorite restaurant rotation. I hate when things like that happen when it doesn't have anything to do with the food but with other things in the business.

I came in around 8ish on a weeknight. It wasn't busy but there were customers steadily coming in. I jumped in line where one of the sandwich makers was slicing meat right there. I was confused as which line to get in because she didn't stop what she was doing she just kept slicing meat and making small talk like which was her favorite sub, the best sellers, and where was I going and coming from. I told her I was ready to order and she stopped what she was doing and took my order.

Then I proceeded to pay for my meal. This where my problem came in. I gave the cashier my debit card and she swiped it once and waited. She said that it's that time of night when the card machine takes a while to accept the payment. She swiped it again. She wasn't giving the machine time to process the payment. She was very impatient, there wasn't a line or anything that would make her want to rush. Then she punched my card number in and it finally went through.

I went to sit and eat. I purchased the Club Supreme. It's a cold sub with turkey, roast beef, Swiss cheese, bacon, mayo and I got it Mike's Way® with onions, lettuce, tomatoes and The Juice--an exquisite splash of red wine vinegar and olive oil blend, and always finished with spices. It was very tasty, the bread was great as well. Me being a bread lover I couldn't get enough of it. I finished my meal and headed to another local business to get dessert. I gave the employee my card and he said it was declined. I know I had money on it but it was still declined. I had to give another form of payment.

So I went home to call my bank and see what was going on. After talking to the customer service rep on the phone I realized that the cashier had in fact charged me twice for my meal which in turn but a hold on my card. The rep said that one payment went through and the other one was denied but the money was still taken off my card and it would take 5 business days for me to receive it back to the card.

This highly upset me and made me not want to go to this store again even though the food was great. Maybe after a few weeks or so when my anger will have diminished and I will be able to go back in and enjoy more things off the menu but until then I'm still pissed!!!!!
