I got the child's chicken fried steak which a was perfect portion. I personally make better collards. They weren't cooked enough, nor chopped small enough. Everything else was giid. Too bad they will be out of this location after SXSW.

Great food, friendly staff. We were in a rush and the waiter was very accommodating. Loved the Catfish and the cornbread is very worth it.

(I have gastroparesis, so my review should not be applied to those with normal digestion.)
For me, there was very little to eat. There was no potato preparation without skins. I ended up having a bare burger patty and Mac & Cheese. The burger was a little tough, but the mac&cheese was quite creamy and tasty, though a little spicy.

Food was so so. One person in our group of 15 ordered a meal with asparagus. It was disgusting and chewy the waitress didn't just take his asparagus or bring something else, she took his whole dinner plate. When she brought it back (quite a while later!) his steak-- the same one was cold along with the other items on his plate! Two or three people ordered the shrimp which was reportedly overcooked. The only General consensus was that the mashed potatoes we're good. Go for the entertainment, don't expect much from the food.
