Graffiti Park at Castle Hill

Super fun spot to visit and take pictures. There is graffiti everywhere and you can even add your own. Short "hike" up to top for nice Austin city views.

I felt like I walked up a to a scene in my dreams. I have always had an extreme respect for the elements that create the hip hop culture and this place makes me so proud of my city and it embracing what I love so much. I love that everyone can be great in their own eyes and that we can put together so many judgements and create a beautiful scene of colorful art.

Very relaxing and low key place. Great place to walk and hike a little. Really good art and it keep changing. So the graffiti you see today may not be there tomorrow. You can park along the road but you may have to wait a little.

The HOPE Outdoor Gallery is a wonderful cause for local artists. I thoroughly enjoy my visits here each and every time. I make it out every other week at least, and it's always a new experience. The only time I steer clear of it is during particularly touristy times / height of the summer because the higher foot traffic results in the murals getting more tagged over than usual. Besides that, the community has a general consensus to tag alongside artists work rather than over their pieces - Respect the artwork and it will remain a beautiful and ever-changing canvas :)

Constantly changing graffiti/ murals. Always nearly impossible to park. Always busy in the early evening. Go in the morning for best light and less crowd....though the crowd can be part of the fun.. NOT accessible for the mobility challenged. Fresh paint around. Careful. Quirky former building site with a few cement walls still intact
