Fishing is CATCH AND RELEASE only but only caught small ones when I was there. The trails are all unpaved. I loved it. It's only like 7 minutes from mueller lake park too.

Beautiful and mellow. Water can get a little trashy but still nice overall.

This part of the park that rings Mueller has a lot of natural beauty to take in. The biking/jogging path is well maintained and a pleasure to use. The water features are pleasant and in the spring there is a large area of native Texas prairie that is full of wildflowers. Not as many benches or picnic tables as Mueller Lake Park, but usually less crowded and a bit more secluded.

A nice place to walk, off of the more beaten path of Mueller Lake Park. This isn't an area for lounging in the grass, as most of these landscaping of intended to preserve native plants and habitat, but the trails are pleasant and varied, with interesting sculpture installations along the way. There are some shady picnic tables along the pond as well, and a few small man-made waterfalls add nice ambience. Could be a little longer, and the last part of the loop is right next to the road, but still quite nice.
