The park would be nice for children but as a word of caution since we had faith from the other reviews this was a recreational option for a child, this park had various drug use at noon during a mid week afternoon. Construction worker was mingling w the homeless who were smoking incense -also saw a man injecting out in the open!
I hope the city can clean this place up. There should be no tolerance for drug use at a park with facilities for children!

A lot of the park is closed or shut off. There are some beautiful trees there tho

Wow what an exciting time today at Palm Park. Attending the Aids Walk and bringing awareness to this is crucial. Thanks again Austin Tx for coming out.

I wouldn't recommend this park due to its small size and location near I-35. The only reason we went was to see a free "movie in the park" event. It's not my first choice of metropolitan parks in Austin.
