Great food. Fun staff. Great drinks. Tuesday special is awesome. Nice view of downtown Austin and town lake.

We stopped at Joe's for lunch - shrimp tacos and fish and chips. Our server, Taylor, was outstanding! The food was awesome too! And Lady Bird Lake is just outside!

Really friendly staff that went above and beyond to make our experience good - and the food was delicious. Will definitely come back!

We must have caught the cook on a bad day. First they seated us outside which we asked for however we sat there for at least 15 to 20 minutes with no service at all. Finally the guy who took us out there apologized and someone would be right out. We ordered stuffed mushrooms which came with bits and pieces of mushrooms. The waitress sent the manager out who said they cut them down because they are so large (they were small mushrooms) they need to make room on the tray. She said she'd be back to check on us and we never saw her again. Next I ordered stuffed shrimp with dirty rice. The shrimp was burnt the bacon half cooked and the rice was overpowered with sage. Pretty gross for 60 bucks.

My wife and I stopped in for some drinks and a quick bite after walking on the boardwalk. The food hit the spot and the drinks were great. We sat at the bar on a Friday night and the service was spectacular. Jason took care of us and made sure we were taken care of. We really appreciated the time.
