I ordered the ragin' cajun and my boyfriend ordered the Willie Nelson. Both were beyond drenched in sauce to the point where that's all you can taste. My dish had kale that tasted like pure vinegar and the sauce made everything sour, salty, and soggy. The Willie Nelson had a chicken fried steak sitting on top of mashed potatoes. It was not worth the price whatsoever.

Fantastic brunch, and dinner is also pretty amazing. Seasonal menu, and they grow some of their ingredients onsite in the garden. Great neighborhood standby.

Had a fabulous brunch. Service was outstanding and food was excellent. Perfect execution, great flavors, amazingly fresh. Very impressed with this local gem. And considering its right up the road, it's safe to say we will be regulars. Cheers!

I went with a group of friends for a birthday brunch a few weekends ago. The food was subpar and priced too high. I think each dish could have been at least three or four dollars less expensive. Out of all of us that went only a few like their food. I would not recommend going with a large party because our service was extremely slow. Most of our food was also cold when it came out. It had a good atmosphere, but I'm not sure that I would go back.

Got a last minute reservation on Easter Sunday at 11:30. So maybe that had something to do with it. After we sat down and got menus in our hand we were told that someone had our table for another reservation in about an hour, so "no rush, but, you know . . ." I guess get the hell out in 50 minutes or less was implied. I don't believe I've ever been told that in a restaurant before, even on busy days when we had last minute reservations. Is this normal? Seemed very sort of haughty but we didn't complain, as we were surprised we got a table at all on the holiday on such short notice.
Try to sit outside or at the far corners of this place if you get a table inside. If you get placed at a table in the middle inside, you'll get stuck right opposite and very close to the kitchen serving window, which is open to the dining room and really loud. My husband and I could hardly converse over the expo standing on the dining room side of the window yelling stuff at the kitchen staff. After awhile we adjusted and tried not to notice anymore, but it was super annoying at first. I get it that everyone's just doing their job, but when you're paying as much as you do for what you get at Olivia, it'd be nice to at least be able to talk to one another without being distracted by shouts about what's coming up on the line and something having the wrong garnish every five seconds.
Lastly, we were both disappointed with our meals. Mind you we were there early for the holiday, and they looked busy but not every table was full by any means. Our plates came our barely lukewarm, roast was dry and chewy, his fried chicken dish was OK but not really any much better than versions we've made at home. I didn't glance at the bill -- my poor husband paid -- but I'm guessing we forked over at least $50-$70 for a disappointing 50-minute brunch (wanted to be sure we didn't go over that hour!)
The only bright spot really was our waitress. She was prompt, polite and checked up on us frequently.
