No safety cameras alert! No surveillance. Manager confirmed there is no security for customers! Last night we dined at this location with our entire family and it ended very bad for us. Our car was brutally rear ended right outside the restaurant and upon inquiry for cameras for parking lot, restaurant manager said we don’t have security cameras for customers and “we don’t think we need security for the business”! This should be made mandatory by Austin City Regulations.Neither the customers are safe nor the business! Bad customer service! No courtesy!

I’ve been client of Pei Wei for several years now, I’m not from the US but every time that I go for work I usually stop there, I was introduced to the restaurant by a colleague several years ago. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with this particular restaurant. I lost my receipt which I needed to submit my expense report, I did called long distance 4 times trying to talk to the Manager to see if he can send me a copy of the receipt via email, and every time they come up with a story and asked me to call the next day because they were very busy. They keep me waiting in the phone 10+ minutes each time I called (remember I was calling long distance). I finally drop it and stopped insisting since the manager clearly didn’t wanted to collaborate. It’s a shame how a person in particular could affect the service of a restaurant, who’s supposed to carry the most responsibility towards delivering a good service. I will certainly not visit this particular restaurant anymore.

Great location for a quick lunch break! Service was/is so expedient and the food is amazing! You must try the Japanese Steak & Shrimp something or another. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone without a solid constitution as it is, in my opinion, one of their spiciest dishes. Seating is plentiful and if you are an oddball like me, the large basket of grab-as-you-go fortune cookies is kind of a huge plus! Drink selection is great with those digital touch screen fountains with, like, a billion choices. aaaaand of course, there's sweet tea!

I waited 30 minutes for my order and there were others waiting as well (I was the first in line at 11:03 a.m.). I approached the manager who apologized and stated they did not have enough employees. I did not think it was fair to ask for a refund when my food was given to me. I am sad to say I will not be back.

Food is good for a quick and cheap bite, though not the most authentic Asian food in the area. Staff is polite but often seem a little overwhelmed and pulled in different directions - seems as if they need one or two more FOH employees on staff.
