we went as a gang of 8 people for this restaurant for weekday Lunch. We got quite a variety of dishes. Chicken, steak, shrimp and everything was cooked to perfection and the quantity was surprising. We all took major part of our food for dinner! Definitely recommend this place for authentic Chinese! Yumm.

OH. MY. LORD. Their food is amazing! Egg foo young, general tso's bean curd, dry-fried green bean are all amazing and not too expensive!

We have lived in Austin for over 8 years and just recently found out about another authentic south Austin Chinese restaurant. Everything that we've ordered so far has been delicious and the portions are generous. The staff is extremely friendly. I'm taking away a star due to the plastic table cloths that don't seem to get changed because they are under a sheet of glass. I'd just take them off, personally.

We have a passion for Sichuan food. While living in NYC we consumed as much as we could. It was one of the hottest in food trends at the time. Sichuan River is superior to anything I experienced in New York by a long shot. This place is amazing and the staff if fantastic. Highly recommend. Just hope it doesn't get too busy so I can still walk in and get a table.

Go to Chinese restaurant in Austin. The variety of dishes are amazing. The sichuan fried chicken, the eggplant, water boiled fish, salt & pepper shrimp and green beans are really good. Very generous amount of food. Very reasonably priced.
