Honestly, the food is just ok. The service is fast, the lady is very nice, but the food could be a lot better.

Service is great! Love the location and how small the restaurant is. Every time I've been I am immediately greeted with a smile. The same lady takes the order, brings the food, and collects the payment. She is great!

Taco-Mex
This is my go to breakfast taco place due to being three blocks from my house (proximity wins when hungry!). It's a no-frills joint that offers straight ahead tacos.
Service is always prompt and courteous.
Their green sauce is spicy and adds a nice bit of heat.
If you are in the the area it is worth hitting.

Taco-Mex is a great little taco joint that comes across as just any other orange painted hole in the wall that the assuming passerby might miss (if not for it being orange). But, after getting to know the ins and outs of the place, I can say there are some pleasant surprises.
First, the staff there are super nice. Feel free to give them a ring and place your order ahead of time. Second, Taco Mex has got a secret menu that would rival other places known for their secret menus. You want fish tacos? They have 'em. Third, the place is dang affordable. Even though the prices for the non-taco items are not listed, you can safely order them without breaking the bank and, with government shutdowns and international unrest, sometimes a good chalupa that won't cost you a fortune is exactly the thing you need. Taco Mex is truly a bright light in dark dark world.
