Very quaint place, questionable music choice. The food however.....FIRE. I got the Vegetable Spaghetti Tofu and the curry sauce its drowning in sent my a** to the moon and back. Very delicious and spicy

I am a native Austinite (born and raised). I have tried other Thai restaurants, but this is still by far my favorite. And the owners are very friendly, wonderful people.

My parents have been going here since before I was born and my dad tells a story about how the very first time he ever ate here, he asked for his dish to be spiced "authenticity hot". The chef had to come out and ask him if he was really sure. - So if you don't like spicy food, they can been trusted to help you figure out the right dish for you. (In my Dad's case, he wanted it super spicy and loved it).

I also have gluten-intolerance/Celiac and they can also make a number of dishes GLUTEN-FREE upon request (no soy sauce).

If you want something that's not too spicy my favorite dish is their Pad Thai (request no soy-sauce for gluten free).

Tom Ka soup is a classic which they serve with style. (Also one of my favorites). And it is not spicy.

Egg rolls are NOT gluten-free (although their beef egg rolls are uniquely good as long as you aren't allergic and can have them), ...BUT the soft spring rolls ARE GLUTEN-feee and so is their peanut sauce that goes with them.

My favorite spicy dish is beef or chicken Panang (which is naturally gluten-free).

Also for dessert I highly recommend the Sweet Sticky Rice with mango! So yummy! 😊

Not one of the best Thai places I've had, but it's still pretty good, and it's better than most of the Thai places in Austin. For food near campus, it's definitely up there, but if you're willing to make a drive, I'd say go to Titayas.

Very friendly staff with amazing food. We had the shrimp salad. It was tasty with the right amount of spiciness. Our friends had the soup with lemongrass and coconut milk-wonderful! Nice atmosphere.

Long time Austin establishment that has no doubt fed hundreds of thousands of current and past UT students due to its convenient location to campus. Not a place overly posh, but what it loses in atmosphere it more than makes up in terrific Thai dishes with reasonable prices and portions. The staff has been there for years and will often recognize you and "catch up" and often times know what you order regularly. It's not what you'd call close to my home but I will drive all the way for their food. It appears they are doing construction to expand which will provide much greater seating capacity. Whatever you order, you MUST start with the chicken wing appetizer. You won't regret it!!
