I asked for a chicken Caesar salad I got a chicken Caesar salad kit. The chicken was cold. The meatballs on the other dish or extremely Bland and slightly under done. All that for $57.

Went here for dinner because we wanted something else beside the Resort food at Barton Creek.
Had great service. Good atmosphere. If it was a little cooler I would have sat outside on the patio.
Sea scallops my wife enjoyed. I had the mozzarella and tomatoes. There where 4/5 different tomatoes very unique.
I had open face Lobster ravioli was very tasty and fresh. My wife had the bolognese which was very good.
Good overall experience. The bar area is also very nice.
This is within a Hotel lobby. The Hotel is also a Tuscan theme hotel. Also nice.

I am really surprised this place has 4.5 stars. Although the restaurant and patio has a nice ambiance inside beautiful hotel, the food simply was not up to par. The prices were quite expensive considering the quality of food. I don't mind spending that much if the food is exceptional. There are far better Italian restaurants in Austin that are priced similarly or less even, like Sienna.

We would like to thank you and your staff for a tasty evening. We are confident that Visconti Ristorante will be a shining star in the Austin restaurant scene. We look forward to tasting more of Chef Parlo's take on northern Italian cuisine. So many of the dishes remind of us our time traveling throughout Italy. It refreshing not have a same old same old menu that is often presented in Austin. This is a quick trip to Italy.
