A great hour long tour at a super cheap rate! We had a large group of family and friends. It turned out to be a perfect group activity. DJ and crew were so much fun from beginning to end! The tour was informative and the scenery was beautiful! It was BYOB which was a huge bonus!! Bring your own snacks as well. Also don’t forget to bring cash to tip the guys after, that’s how they make their money! I got our tickets for only $5 a piece on Groupon which felt like robbery even without the groupon, it’s only around $10 which is still a steal!! Such a great deal either way.

Be sure to make your reservations through their website. BYOB and a snack! You will probably get pooped on by the bats, so be prepared for that. Overall, a very fun and educational experience.

Captain Shelby made the bat tour the best! She is funny and knowledgeable as well! I highly recommend this as part of your vacation.

I've done both a weekend afternoon cruise and a private party in the evening. Both were quite nice. It was neat to see the bats flying out from the south Congress bridge at night. We were able to get a groupon for the weekend cruise and it was really reasonable and worth the $6 a person we paid. I think even the regular price would be worth it.

We had a fabulous experience with Lone Star Riverboat company in August 2017 with a group of 8! From the moment we called and spoke to the lovely lady on the phone until we were festively warmly ushered off the boat at the end of our evening cruise! Everything about our experience caused us to ooh and aah! We just made reservations for 6 of us for this forthcoming Friday evening -- can't wait! Thanking the awesome beautiful voice/persona of Lone Star Riverboat's Joy who is a class act!
