Friendly knowledgeable staff about a wide variety of subjects, can store bag for the day, still have printed maps and brochures

Very informative and helpful staff. Also a good place to charge your phone and escape the heat.

This is a great little stop for exploring all Austin has to offer. Staff members conscientiously highlight the items of greatest interest, and there's a little shop with Austin souvenirs. Note: Though the huge Austin Visitor Center sign is on the corner of Red River and 4th, you'll actually need to walk a little bit further down 4th to see the entrance to this place, which is just to the left of Austin Duck Adventures.
