The Mission tour was amazing!!! Chris was awesome. I learned soooo much about the history of the mission district and had some of the most delicious food!!! I would recommend this tour to anyone!!! Sal the butcher : the best tacos (Cecina ) , Sam( Kings bakery) best coconut buns...

Pretty good. I've been on a few around Texas and this one was more history than ghost. The tour guide (maverick??) Was really good at drawing everyone in and seemed to be really knowledgeable about all of the stops.

This was a fabulous experience. I learned more about Austin in one night than in the 20 years of living here combined. It has such a rich history and the tour guide we had shared it so well. It was fun walking around at night, hearing the stories, which were more heartbreaking than scary. (Although going to the bathroom in the Driskill Bar by myself does make me jumpy now!)

Not worth $20, i would appraise this tour at around $5 a person.
The story tellers they employ are just not good at one they do. Out of the 5 stories we heard, only one speaker was capable of actually drawing an audience into the story and painting a picture, the other four were laughably bad at what they do. The following is an excerpt
Lady with extremely thick Latin accent in a flat monotone voice "Everything was completely normal that night until.....the toilet flushed on its own!!!!! ooooooohhhhh" I mean come on! Really?
The tour does not take you inside anywhere (except the Driskill hotel lobby which you can walk into on your own) so you walk around outside for an hour and half to listen to stories that took place somewhere else.
It was lame, and your money is better spent on a case of bear and a slasher flick.
