well if you know me, you know that i am an avid fan of pad thai, the pad thai chaser. and i have searched and searched and this place is kinda astonishing. but, let me take y’all on a journey. to others, this pad thai is great but let me take you all to the unknown so we can make it known and make a two hour detour to Thai Lotus, located in gulfport, ms. thank u for ur time.

Looks like a prison outhouse, but as with a load of these places, for it to survive the food has to be properly banging.

The woman that took my order over the phone was very nice. My husband picked up our order and confirmed that she was a sweetheart. This was our first time eating here. The food was superb!!! It was hot, fresh, and the portions are huge. This is certain to be a new regular place for us!!!

The food was the best Thai food I have had in Baton Rouge. The building is nothing special, but the food is great. The service is good as well.

The food is excellent. The place looks really sketchy as you approach, and the complete lack of windows is off-putting. The wait staff is friendly although they can get distracted by chatting to other guests, so your wait time may be longer than is strictly necessary. Your food might not all make it to your table at the exact same time either but...relax. The food is well worth it. That was the best Pad Thai I have ever eaten.
