Great place to grab real southern food and great beer. The wait staff are always polite and helpful and willing to give suggestions if you aren't from the area. The atmosphere can be a bit noisy but there are areas like upstairs if you prefer to eat in a quieter area. The only down-side is that they are a southern restaurant and do not serve sweet tea. Although this doesn't seem like a problem for some, it can be a deterrent. All in all, I would suggest trying it out. It's a great place to go, especially for brunch!

Simply put, one of the best hang out spots in Baton Rouge. Good local cuisine. Better beer menu. Does have a tendency to get loud and crowded depending on when you choose to go.

First waitress was excellent. They changed shifts to a younger chick training a new guy and on the surface seemed nice enough but question her and she's got a nasty sarcastic nature. She was disrespectful to the elderly lady I was with who was only asking very nicely about why her check was so high. She actually said to her, if you want I can make it the higher price. And I told her not to be disrespectful to her and this girl then responded I would never do that. She was just ugly. The burger was decent when dipped in ketchup so I gave 3 stars.

Went here today to celebrate my brother birthday and I must say that the restaurant was really nice, it was very clean and the wait wasn't long at all. Our waitress was awesome from the time we sat down to the the we left which was really amazing because she had other customers to attend to as well and she did a amazing job with all smiles and polite. They had a really good food menu and drinks. We had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend as well as be visiting again,I don't mind driving from New Orleans to Baton Rouge to enjoy a delicious meal and good environment.

My favorite restaurant and bar in BR. There is no better place to enjoy a beautiful day than out on the covered patio here. Great service. Great selection of craft beer. Dog friendly (on the patio at least). Good mix of cajun food and munchies. Cheese fries with jalapenos and bacon + your favorite local beer = bliss.
