My husband and I had a wonderful experience shopping here at Smarter Eyewear. The staff is awesome and very helpful. We really don't like shopping for eyeglasses but the experience here at Smarter Eyewear makes it effortless. They recommend styles that will compliment the shape of your face and you basically tell them what color or your preference and they walk around picking out frames for you to try on. You will not be disappointed!!! We love this place. Oh forgot to mention Paul filled out our paperwork for our insurance!!! How awesome is that! Thank you Smarter Eyewear for our stylish Mykita frames!!! Highly recommend :-)

I visited this store because I was in the area and I've been needing new glasses. When you walk in there's coffee and cucumber water. It's very open and has lots of natural sunlight which helps when you're trying to pick out the best glasses for you. Patrick and Autumn were there on my first visit. They were very helpful and greeted me with many glasses that would suit me best. They're very knowledgable and patient, as this can be a long process. The prices range was from pretty decent to high end expensive eyewear. But the variety of brands offer a few similar looks which helps out those who don't want to spend too much money. I have a hard time finding glasses that fit my face because my face is rather small. So it was exciting to see SO MANY options..especially ones that are more my style. I was stuck between at least 10 pair, which is unheard of for me. I left that day without any glasses, but I knew I was going to return because the price was okay, glasses are never usually cheap..and because I actually loved most of the glasses there. I came back 4 days later. I spent another hour figuring out which I wanted most with the help of Autumn and Teana. Was told it would take 30 minutes. I got them in 20 and I love my glasses. They offer glasses cloths and spray. If I'm not mistaken I think she said you can come in and get cloths and spray for free after having bought a pair. I purchased my glasses through Teana and she was awesome! All in all, it's nice to see a small local business do good work and offer trendy glasses. I will stick with them from here on out.

Employees are super helpful and very friendly! They helped me pick out my frames and made suggestions based on styles I liked. They have a wide range of frames and brands all at a decent price. I will definitely be visiting again!

This is the best place to buy glasses in Baton Rouge. A small, local business that sells local brands. The two guys that run it are awesome, funny, cute, and give great advice on which frames fit your face/personality. They made all their shelves and tables by recycling packaging material. They have great coffee and citrus/cucumber-infused water. It's a really convenient, great location. I bought a pair of 141 frames when they first opened, and about 6 months later, they were stretched out and falling off my face -- I brought them back in and they reshaped and refitted them really fast at no cost (they also gave me a new microfiber cleaning rag + cleaning solution). I love them & you will too!
