I will not go into this place when Levi is bartending. All the other bartenders are great though. It's a fun place to hang out when she's not there.

We love The Den! Friends and I have been coming in for years and never had a bad experience.

First off I will start this review off by saying that I have been going to this bar for over 2 and a half years, with no complaints and great service from all of the bartenders except Levi. Background about me: Worked for Lithia 6 years/ Sales Manager. I tip over 30 - 50 percent on every tab and bring as much business to this bar as I can. Combined, the business we bring in represents plenty of tips for the bartenders and a crowd not looking for any trouble. Something I would figure this kind of bar would appreciate. Recently I was at this bar with friends and was amazed that our bartender was outwardly intoxicated and falling asleep behind the bar. At one point she disappeared for at least 20 minutes and had the lady in the casino looking for her. It was not until she came out of the bathroom that we knew where she had gone. While she was gone two people at the bar actually got tired of waiting and WALKED BEHIND THE BAR AND TOOK THEIR CREDIT CARD, then proceeded to steal the glasses they were drinking out of and walk out the front door without paying. Now all of this I am telling is on security cameras inside the bar if the owners would like to watch and see their money walk out the door.
After Levi got back behind the bar and once again started rocking back in forth in an intoxicated or tremendously sleepy state from whatever she was taking, my girlfriend went to the bathroom and had to clean up the blood that she threw up all over the toilet. After she got out of the bathroom she went and even tried to see if Levi was ok. Levi stated she "Didn't feel well, but she was ok".
Keep in mind after all of this bizarre, and un professional behavior we still sat there and waited for her to serve us because THIS IS THE BAR WE ALWAYS GO TO. Even though the average wait time to get a drink after you were done with the one you had was probably 20 minutes.
Everyone in the bar was treated poorly. Shortly after the bathroom incident we asked to cash out and then we left while our friends stayed a little longer. No complaints to management from me or my girlfriend, just left and went home with a new experience to shake our heads about.
The following few days went by and then my girlfriend got a text from Levi (they have each others numbers) The text claimed (and I quote)
Levi - " I hate to drag you into this immature nonsense and if I had (my name) or (my friends name) I would send them a message directly. BUT ARE THEY AWARE THAT WHEN THEY CALL THE DEN TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ME TO MY BOSS, THAT THATS MY STEPMOTHER....? I HAVE BEEN MORE THAN KIND TO THE TWO OF THOSE MEN AND HAVE GOTTEN NOTHING BUT RUDENESS IN RETURN. So I will NO LONGER be serving any of them the next time they enter MY place of employment. You yourself are more than welcome in the den but when I am on shift, I will not be serving any of them. Again I don't like dragging you into it but I don't know any other way to contact them."
THIS IS A WORKER AT A BAR TEXTING A PATRONS GIRLFRIEND!
Luckily I have a wonderful girlfriend that doesn't need someone like Levi in her life on a personal level and she was disgusted that an employee would claim that she is basically safe from any repercussions because her FAMILY owns the bar. I should have called the cops on her and put her in jail. Maybe then patrons would come first.
Once again, if this family would trade an intoxicated worker for Hundreds of dollars and patrons then I will have no problem going elsewhere, I just didn't see this bar as that kind of a place.
Patrons beware, Levi is a very ungrateful and rude bartender that will overcharge, and under deliver on customer service. The rest of the Bartenders are amazing and if they read this, know that my tips should have continued to come your way but because Levi is family with the owners and the owners obviously tell their employees its ok to be drunk or on something behind the bar that business will be lost and 1.00 tips per beer is ok.
