Granted, I had not eaten at the Muzzleloader for years but my wife and I had a craving for chicken fried steak. Something they were well known for in the past. It was absolutely terrible!! I don’t know if they had rancid oil they were using or what. But it was terrible.
Then, I don’t think they cleaned the carpets there since the last time I was there. 10’years ago.
Too bad. It used to be a great place.

Its a Great place to eat. It got great coffee. The employees are the best and are proud of what they Diane they show their pride in their jobs. I would recommend the Muzzle Loader as one of the BEST PLACES TO EAT. I WOULD GIVE IT A 5 STAR RATEING

Super Breakfasts! What food is and (was) like when there is an actually cook in the kitchen instead of someone who knows how to use the microwave to defrost orange food-- aka stuff out of the freezer to your plate.
Service is good ask for Jo or Toosonee for waitstaff!
One of the last old time places around... Bravo.

The food is amazing, the waitress is warm and pleasant and knows how to refill drinks. By far one of the best restaurants I've been to in billings.

It's okay. 3-star okay. Slightly better than average breakfast food served by two absurdly busy people who must be doing everything for a dining room that is eternally packed. Everything you ask for takes fifteen minutes, so read up on the menu and get your drinks and food in one rip if you know what's good for you.
Paying the bill and getting out was snappy, though. There was a whole gang of ladies behind the cash register surveying the mayhem.
